Greetings!
Access to the file modification date, the size, etc. is up to now only
possible by using externals of some form. This information is a simple
OS call each. If files where managed like objects, wouldn't it be easy
to add properties like:
put "C:/TEMP/xxx.txt" into f
get the size of file f
set the modificationDate of file f to x -- the date format is another issue
...
I'd say many people need this at some point.
