Sometimes one has to access several items at once. The "to" range is
nice, but sometimes those items are not in row. I think it would be nice
if you could say:
get item 3,5,1 of myVar
or even use a variable
get "3,5,1"
get item it of myVar
Of cause repetition should be legal.
This could be expanded to 2D data. Say you have data:
Alice,1,35
Bob,5,53
Claudia,4,21
Dave,7,22
You already can nicely access and sort this type of data structure. But
we often need access that could be built in, like:
get item 1 of each line of data
and even
get item 3,1 of each line of data
or
get item 2 to -1 of each line of data
We already have a function doing this, but I think this syntax would be
much more readable!
