So, here it is ... the 0.9 is out.

Up to now, I've sent the announcement on this list and on
gnu-arch-users, and I'm advertizing on french websites/newsgroups. Can
someone subscribed to the appropriate (X)Emacs mailing lists send the
announcement there too?

No new features will be accepted in this branch, except if we can be
sure it won't break anything. You're all encourraged to test Xtla,
both manually and by adding new testcases to xtla-tests.el.

I'm asking all contributors to seal their 0.1 version
(http://wiki.gnuarch.org/moin.cgi/Sealing_20and_20fixing), and to open
a 0.9 version. I currently have no partner registered for my 0.9
branch, so, you'll have to send a merge request on this list for your
first contribution to this branch.

If you want to start writting new feature, you can create a 1.1
version in your archive, and I'll create one in my archive when there
will be a need for it.

The roadmap for the next versions will probably look like

1.0 : First stable release
1.1.x : Development version, focused on
  - performance issues (to get an idea, run M-x tla-log and compare to
"tla logs" execution time -- but I've got some ideas about how to
    optimize this)
  - Integration of xtla-browse.el in other parts of xtla.el
  - If possible, official integration in GNU Emacs and XEmacs.
1.2 : Next stable release
1.3.x :
  - Some extra stuff such as wrappers for tla-tools utilities
  - higher level merge operators (either implemented in elisp or as a
    wrapper for fai http://sourcecontrol.net/~abentley/fai/)
