Ah, this is because you have (setq tla-switch-to-buffer-mode
'single-window). The buffer doesn't "disapear", it's just that another
buffer replaces it.

I've tried a fix for that, Try to upgrade and tell me if it's OK.

Note that I've enabled the tip only for commit. I think this is a
rather good compromise : You should commit rather regularly, not too
often, not too rarely, and this happen at a time you can free your
mind for a few seconds (whereas the tip buffer would be a bit
disturbing in an operation where people are supposed to be
concentrated).

I've used it for a few days, and I'm happy with it. Well, no, I'm
unhappy: I didn't learn anything with it since I'm the author of all
the tips ;-)
