There is a patch in my archive addressing this one. It seems
that Emacs's regexp-quote is almost compatible with Arch's
regexps, but not quite. For example, Arch requires that {}'s be
escaped, while Emacs does not.
I've added a new function called `tla-regexp-quote' to
xtla-core.el, and hooked it into `tla-generic-add-files-to-*'--is
this the right spot?

Fixed Release:
Test case in xtla-tests.el:
Summary: File names added to .arch-inventory should be regexp-quoted
Original Submission: We currently add things like
precious ^(foo.bar)$
Which should be ^(foo.bar)$. We should check if `regexp-quote' corresponds to
the syntax of tla's regexp.
