I'm very aware what a ppa is, I have compiled and made mods to at least
3 packages for personal use (e.g. gEDA pcb), and that you risk, when
installing stuff from ppa's with large dependencies to get rid of a bug
and get involved with 10000 new bugs... and yes, I saw some minor side
effects, but up to now, no worries. Even orage is working.
