Subject: xubuntu quick tour in flash
hi,
i've had some spare time on my hands today and finally got pyvnc2swf to
work (with audio!)... here's the result:
http://www.doink.ch/xubuntu-doc/xubuntu-flash-quick-tour.html (~5Mb)
WARNING: flash plugin is required for this, which is unfortunately
non-free. you can get it from universe/multiverse though.
do you think this is suited as an alternative method of documenting
xubuntu? i feel we'd need a different spokesperson, though, cause i
stutter too much :o(
The animation is very good. But there is one problem; the distracting color banding in the wallpaper.
If you set the color depth to 24 the effect disappears completely. Though, you have to redo the animation.
