OK then, if that's the case I think we should have it too. But do you know if there's any way of showing that it is an external link? Perhaps an image of a globe in front of it?On 11/8/06, Cody Somerville <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:All the other sister projects have the wiki in their primary links. I believe this to be because the wiki is an integral part to our community.On 11/8/06, Vincent <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:OK, I added it to the Xubuntu Links page.
And about the link to the wiki: I don't think it's really neccessary to put it in the main navigational menu, won't it suffice in the Help & Support page?

I removed the xUbuntu notice on the download page because it was deforming the menu. I placed the markup in the comment box.

Also, I changed the colour from the message because I thought green didn't blend in with the rest, but I added the previous colour to the edit comment so you can revert it if you really want to.VincentOn 11/6/06, Cody Somerville < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:haha - Thanks for the kind words.
I've made some modifications to the website today. What do you guys think?Any issues, just let me know. TheSheep (I dunno his real name) is working on fixing some CSS issues that causes the site to be malformed at higher resolutions/smaller text sizes.
- Modified release announcement at top of the front page to look like that of Ubuntu's;
- Added a warning to the top of xubuntu.org/get regarding upgrade woes;
- Shuffled around the ordering of the menu a bit; and
- Put together some php so that the news archive page is auto-generated.
I'd also like to encourage everyone to please visit https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Xubuntu/Meetings and https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Xubuntu/Meetings/VoteOnDate to read about the upcoming meeting and vote on the time which the meeting will occur. The "poll" will close on the 12th and at that time I'll ask the fridge to add the details to the event calendar. Please feel free to add items to the agenda!
Thanks,

Absolutely zero objections here, I have been talking with him in irc for a few days now and I am very impressed with his level of durpal knowledge, involvement, and motivation. I think he is a great addition and that we now have a very solid admin team and it will help that with our respective time zones there will, on average, be atleast one admin online at any given point in the day.

Cody Somerville also has website edit access now. Any objections? He has
some good drupal experience and may write some custom modules for the
site.
