Hi again,

I just rebuilt the last panel plugin working with xfce4-panel 4.7. Daily
images should be back tomorrow. It should now be "safe" again to
dist-upgrade in natty, and report bugs. ;)

However, I couldn't upload some plugins, because they won't work with
Xfce 4.8:
 * xfce4-cddrive-plugin: it relies on the exo-mount executable, removed
   from exo 0.5;
 * xfce4-places-plugin: same, relies on exo-mount and thunar-vfs;
 * xfce4-volstatus-icon: relies on exo-mount, thunar-vfs, and the
   exo-hal-0.3 library, also dropped with exo 0.5.

The first one can probably work by replacing exo-mount with pmount (I
didn't check). The other ones need to be ported to GIO to work with Xfce
4.8, because one can't unmount with thunar-vfs/hal a volume mounted with
gio. Upstream developers don't have enough time currently, so anyone is
free to provide a patch. :P

I dropped yesterday xfce4-places-plugin from the default install until a
solution is found.

I'll remove these 3 plugins from natty on February 24th (Feature
Freeze[1]) if they haven't been ported at that time (this should give
enough time to people willing to "save" these plugins to work on them
;).

Best,
Lionel
