Hello Lyz,
it is good to know that there is actual no need for new participants
like me.
I will continue to be active at Linkedin and I'm sure to take some looks
at the blog post ideas.
As I wrote, for productivity reasons I prefer to be (mainly) active
based on German.
I want to support Open Source in general and Xubuntu was my first choice.
Reacting to your answer I consider to increase my activities at XING,
where I am active as a software sales and marketing professional. About
76% of all XING pageviews come from Germany, 90% from the DACH area,
Germany, Austria and Switzerland (for information about XING start with
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XING).
Information will be passed to you if necessary.
Best Regards,
Manfred

Hello,
I would like to get involved and to support Xubuntu (and/or XFCE). The
Xubuntu Users Group at Linkedin is not very active
If you haven't already, please feel free to be active in that group,
we can always use more active contributors and consider the most
active ones for admin roles as time passes. If you have any ideas for
increasing activity please let us know! I've had a LinkedIn account
for a long time, but don't really know much about promoting interest
in communities there.
and in addition to this I
would like to participate while thinking, speaking and writing the German
language. It's possible to me to read and write English - I hope so - but
I'm more productive when using German.
I don't have ideas for German (at least until we get translations
going on Xubuntu.org), but we routinely post articles in English, and
can always use help coming up with article ideas and having folks
review articles we've written before publishing, suggestions welcome
here:

My social media activities are concentrated at Linkedin and XING (similar to
Linkedin, Groups: https://www.xing.com/communities/featured_groups). It's
not planned to get active at Twitter or Facebook, where I have no accounts.
I've not heard of Xing, maybe it's more popular in some countries than others?
Thanks for your interest in helping out! :)
