I normally do a clean install of the development version to see if I find
any problems which may apply to others, as well as get a jump on problems
and have been doing so for about 10 years.

On the attempt to install the latest Questing .ISO, I could not use my
normal choice of Manual Partitioning. Since I have a full disk with
multiple distros, I normally select to replace an older development
partition. This time, the installer would not let me proceed with the
installation after properly designating my partitions (EFI, biosboot, swap,
/). The proceed button was not active. I tried 3 times, in case I had made
an error that I missed. I then proceeded to remove the partition completely
using *gparted* and restarted the installation, which allowed me to *Install
alongside existing partitions* which went successfully.

This next is an advisory, and not really a Xubuntu problem. *libsane* has
been 'updated/replaced' by *libsane1* which caused the Brother
printer/scanner drivers to fail for my DCP-7060D printer.

I successfully installed *Questing* and will continue testing.

Respectfully,
Carl Snyder
