Thank you very much; it works perfectly; as suggested somewhere, I also went
to Session and Startup > Application Autostart and add the following startup item:
bash -c 'export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS="" && dropbox start'
after turning off the tick box in dropbox options “start dropbox at the startup” . Now the icon appears
when turning on the computer, as previously.

Hi Vincenzo,
I had the exact same situation as you.
You may have already found the workarounds, but the below is what
you can
try.
$ dropbox stop && DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS="" dropbox start
This brought the dropbox icon back to me.
You can see that many have the same issue with you.

Hope this helps,

of ?no
access? icon is now present; it is clearly related to dropbox
because doing
a dropbox stop (in terminal) it disappears and doing a dropbox
start it
comes back again.

This is a good solution as it provides all the DropBox features of
being
able to inspect the DropBox folder with Thunar, and be able to right
click and get URL's for folders I would like to share. I had
previously
added the DropBox application to the top menu bar, but this did not
provide the sharing URL feature. Well done and thanks Kiyotaka.
hopefully we will get a similar solution added in the next upgrades.
