Unless there is a compelling reason to keep the current configuration a rebuild is the path of least resistance here. If the data is an issue either pull it out to an external drive or gpart a partition for the migration where you can tuck the data you want to save. If it is just a challenge you want to take then, well, lets have some fun. -- Fred
