I *think* the double arrow is just a flow indicator (traffic up/down)
and the other is the one for joining or leaving wireless or wired
connections.

But without seeing them and clicking on them it's hard to say.

My guess is that you have old and new indicators running.

Multiple panel plugins can mean multiple icons for the services that connect to those plugins.
