Hello, The MozillaZine reports that Firefox has hit 20,000,000 downloads. See http://www.mozillazine.org/talkback.html?article=5953
I guess it's the net's best kept secret that Firefox not only can handle HTML but also renders Mozilla's XML UI language (XUL) format "out-of-the-box" and that Firefox itself is actually developed using the Mozila XPFE toolkit that includes Mozilla's XML UI language format. Now I'm wondering if these millions of Firefox installation will help attract new developers to XML UI language formats. What's your experience? Do you see more developers getting interested in creating applications using XML UI language formats instead of plain old "classic" HTML? Or is all the buzz about Firefox revolving around tabbed browsing, increased security and pop-up blocking. Any thoughts? Any comments? - Gerald ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
