The NVDAgraphics IPS package on the 2008.11 CD and in the repository
should support all flavors of the GeForce 6100 family. If you can
still boot
into build 86a, please run /usr/bin/nvidia-SunOS-bug-report.sh and send me
the output. It is possible an vendor private device id was omitted.
