Umm, I'd be glad to try this (Creator 3D series 3, on a SB 2000), if I can
download
a tarball somewhere and not have to repeat your efforts (as if I could) to
try it out. Of course, my box only has SXCE snv_97 on it, and this is _not_ the
best time to update it to the latest SXCE - it doesn't handle must-work
infrastructure
for me (like my email and some other stuff), but it is my largest storage
"server"
(NFS, iSCSI, SMB, AFP), so updating it affects at least one other of my other
systems too.
I for one (as someone who would be glad to have Xorg support for a decent
graphics board for my SB 2000, where decent probably means UPA due to bandwidth)
am certainly interested. But I don't receive the emails, I just check the
forum on
the website every couple of weeks. It wouldn't surprise me if at least some
others
that may also be interested, but don't work on Xorg themselves, might do
similarly.
And those who do work on it could sometimes be very busy (or at a conference or
vacation).
So please don't get too frustrated just for lack of a prompt reply; it happens
sometimes...
