Just curious.. are you adding -xspace.. If you look at the elf
binary.. where is the extra space coming from inside the binary?..
Anywhere noticeable? If you can preprocess the source so that it's
easily comparable/reproducible and send to the toolchain list.. I'll
be converting your xorg packaging/patches over to my new system this
week and can also test lzma and xz (basically lzma2) as well compare
generated sizes.. Rumor is that SS 12.1 EA is coming soon so may be
worth testing against that as well.. I see a lot of possibilities vs
just reverting back to gcc..
