An experimental, 2D only driver for ATI Radeon X1000-series
chipsets is included in that release (the xf86-video-radeonhd
driver from X.Org). It's not used by default though - only
if you create an xorg.conf that specifies it - Xorg -configure
from the command line login will create a file you can then
move to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.
