I just purchased this card thinking that its Nvidia of course it will work! WRONG...
Seems like the chip set is too new for the Solaris drivers. This is what I get from a scanpci: pci bus 0x0001 cardnum 0x00 function 0x00: vendor 0x10de device 0x0622 nVidia Corporation Device unknown This is what the Xorg.0.log says: (--) PCI: (1:0:0) nVidia Corporation unknown chipset (0x0622) rev 161, Mem @ 0xf a000000/24, 0xc0000000/28, 0xf8000000/25, I/O @ 0xb800/7, BIOS @ 0xfbd80000/19 The Nvidia range in /etc/driver_aliases stopped at: nvidia "pci10de,61a" I did a: update_drv -a -i '"pci10de,622"' nvidia This added to the driver_aliases nvidia "pci10de,622" Is there anything I am missing or am I "SOL" I also added the latest driver set from Nvidia web site for solaris x86 NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-169.12.run which just came out on the 26th.
