MoinakG,

I tried your ati 4850 driver and it seemed to work. The desktop shows just as
usual. However, I can not select any resolutions, it is decreased to 1024x768
or something like that. And when I want to set the resolution, I can not. There
are no alternatives for different screen resolutions in the drop down to
choose. The drop down is empty.

I therefore did Xorg -config and moved the file to /etc/X11. There were no
resolutions written in the file, so I added 1680x1050 entry. To no avail. It is
still fixed at 1024x768 or something. So how can I change resolutions?

It appears to me that your driver didnt change anything (except removing all
different resolutions). Before I installed your driver, I got graphics. So how
can I tell you, if your driver is successfull? Nothing has changed.

And, another question. I have only one PCI slot and it is occupied by the AOC
micro SATA card. My NIC is RTL8111/8168B PCIe gigabit integrated on the mobo.
There are no driver for that card, as of now. Right? But here is a post,
showing a driver for a similar card. Could that driver be modified?

I am thinking of buying this PCIe NIC card, it should work for Solaris b91,
right?
