I helped set up a demo of Looking Glass on SXCE on x86 using the nvidia
drivers when they were first released a couple of years ago - it worked
then, but I haven't tried in the years since.
OpenSolaris 2008.05 and SXCE 85 & later both include Compiz for your 3-D
eye candy needs too.
It might even work on SPARC now that there's XVR-2500 support for Xorg in
the latest SXCE builds, but I haven't tried that either. (Looking Glass
requires several X extensions found only in Xorg, not Xsun.)
