The quality of my two previous messages had been poor ("pre-sleep-era"),
I apologize.

I guess SPARCgraphics people are reading this:

Would be cool, thanks.

I cannot say whether or not Xorg would currently find or "see" PCI-X
cards on sparc, bus scanning may be an early stopper.
I have no idea about which controllers/bridges those most recent boxes
employ (however, only a few lines of bus scanning code may need to be
altered and/or added).
But the graphics chipsets on XVR-200 and XVR-300 are appearently already
supported by Xorg's open source drivers on Linux x86 (not totally sure,
please verify yourself).
If that's the case, it should be trivial to get them going on sparc,
maybe a few endian fixes or such.

Your own customers?
Aren't there still quite a number of folks still using Ultra2's for real
(small) business?

So shall I include that (existing) driver
yes[ ]
no [ ] ?

Good to hear!

BTW, I do not include wsfb, as it only brings problems during
auto-configuration (affecting the better native drivers) plus even
causes Signal 10 in certain scenarios, as early as during "Xorg -configure".
It is not needed anymore (for testing yes, but not in a binary
distribution).
