It does say that, but all opengl programs are unusable as the FPS never goes above 4-6fps or so. And when I use a custom built Mesa, it's working fine. It's the same for the current Xorg version in OpenSolaris as well (with the only difference: "Failed to initialize TTM. Falling back to classic").
