Misspoke. They were quite enthusiastic and helpful, and they have
fixed it and another (endian) problem in gdb 6.8.50. In case anyone
is having gdb problems with Solaris of any kind on SPARC, and runs
into this thread, the weekly CVS of gdb as of May 5th seems pretty
stable and doesn't have any problems I know of.

This is obviously now the wrong list for this topic, but since it is
here, here's a followup question:

When would this new gdb (probably gdb 6.9 or 7.0) make it into any
SPARC release? The libXau bug has been around for quite a while.
Just wondering how long to keep my CVS build around...
