Will this probably be the mechanism for something filling a feature space not unlike Windows (or Mac) "fast user switching"?
(except of course that unlike those, it's not about controlling the number of concurrently usable sessions) Or alternatively (not quite the same question though), will it be possible to switch to another virtual console when the current one is an X display with the screen locked? Better yet, could the system be configured (without restricting the active virtual consoles to just one) to either allow, or _not_ allow, such behavior? One could imagine site policy reasons to go either way on that - and perhaps to lock down some systems more than others. One could even imagine that one did not (or occasionally, did) want to delegate that choice to unprivileged users... -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
