That's not a bug - there is no library to be listed for xextproto.
xextproto.pc only tells you where to find X extension protocol headers.
For linking with libXext, you need to use xext.pc - the bug is that
xext.pc is missing. I've just verified that we missed including that
file when integrating the X11R7 version of libXext and filed bug 6791042
for it, and will fix in build 107 (the build currently open for putbacks
for us).
