I'm back with good news, after a lot of tests !
It works I've got the 1680x1050 resolution.
I tried :
Option "Monitor-LVDS" "viewsonic"
And
Option "Monitor-DVI-1" "viewsonic"
Badly It didn't change anything...
Finally what it was important :
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "viewsonic"
# HorizSync 30-82
# VertRefresh 56-75
Modeline "1680x1050_60.00" 146.25 1680 1784 1960 2240 1050 1053 1059 1089
-hsync +vsync
Option "PreferredMode" "1680x1050_60.00"

Without the PreferredMode option I'm unable to get the good resolution...
In every tests I was unable (today too) to change resolution from Java Desktop.
Indeed fields "Resolution" and "Refresh rate" are empty.
