Based on the log files I have received I've updated the driver: http://home.comcast.net/~jdmartin99/NVIDIA-Solaris-x86-177.80-xVM
The NVDAgraphicsr package version is VERSION=177.80,REV=2008.11.05.10.16. This implements a modified board probe and displays the PCI-E capability data. If you have one of the effected GeForce 6xxx please try this driver. I would like to have from these systems: # grep nvidia /var/adm/messages | grep "found pcie" # echo ":interrupts -d" | mdb -k # /usr/bin/nvidia-SunOS-bug-report.sh This could regress the behavior of the driver for using MSI so the property in /kernel/drv/nvidia.conf can be uncommented to recover. Also, if someone can reproduce this with just an add-in GeForce 6xxx card, please send me details on the card so I can buy one. I don't have one of the effected motherboards and it is unlikely I will buy one.
