Currently, there is an RFE open for xscreensaver to not depend on user's
home directory. We have been going back and forth on migrating to a new
screen saver program that the community at large has adopted
(gnome-screensaver). That plan has been finalized and we are in the
process of migrating to it. The new gnome-screensaver will not have this
dependency of accessing user's home directory everytime screensaver
tries to unlock display.
We will also raise priority on the RFE to see if we can fix existing
screensaver for S10 users.
