But it wasn't a big deal, only half an hour. The buggy Xinerama functions which prevent GDM from working on SPARC are a different story, they ate up the entire night and morning (strictly speaking the question is, which one of the two actually contains something which constitutes the "bug", and which one is just the victim of the other).
