As of Nevada build 97, the official builds of the X consolidation
have switched from Studio 11 to Studio 12, for those bits we build
with the Sun compilers. The Xorg server & drivers on x86, and a
few other components are still built with the Solaris-bundled gcc
for various reasons.
For those building themselves, Studio 11 compilers should still work
now, but a putback in the near future will change the compiler flags
to the Studio 12 versions (i.e. from -xarch=generic64 to -m64 to
avoid the incessant whining from Studio about deprecated flags), at
which point Studio 11 builds will stop working unless you revert that
change.
