Re - add_drv the "vgatext" module. Not by just performing "add_drv -v vgatext", but by means of the orignial parameters to add_drv as done during a normal installation of the SUNW package containing the vgatext driver. Boot into rescue mode, then manually mount your Solaris media, then find the right package with "find /mnt/foo|grep vgatext", then issue "pkgadd -d /mnt/foo -R /a FOUNDPKGNAME". Then update the boot archive. This should fix your boot issues. This message posted from opensolaris.org
