What do you mean by "port ... all the docs/SDK/DDK over to SXCE/SXDE/Indiana" ? A DDK had been necessary during times of closed source. Microsoft can release a DDK. But Xorg is a source tree, DDK, SDK, docs and much more all put together. It can be obtained from x.org . The only thing that makes sense is a Xorg versus OpenSolaris compatibility matrix, written into a man page. There I can agree, but otherwise? Or do you mean Sun should make the historic Xsun DDK freely redistributable? Well, that would also be a nice move.
