Intel and Asus have released a few Intel GMA X3000 video-based motherboards which will cause a great noise in the OEM factories. Most of these are the Intel DG965* motherboards and Asus P5B-V* which includes the Intel GMA X3000 chipset.
The base driver is currently at PV 14.24 for Windows-based platforms and v14.26 is expected for the full featured driver. The Xorg Intel driver is at v1.6.5 and can be obtained from: http://intellinuxgraphics.org/xf86-video-i810-1.6.5.tar.bz2 Use Mesa CVS >=20060901 (i.e. v6.5.x) for better results. ~ Ken Mays @ EarthLink, Inc.
