The (controversial) integration of GL with X11R7 (XGL, XEGL) is going to be relatively drawn out also. It's a little difficult to comprehend if these efforts are just a sideshow and how they relate to mainline X11 and if they will show up in Solaris (x86 and/or SPARC). At this point is there any direction you can state for Solaris? People will ask about this, so it might be worth a blog.
