Intel provides funding and documentation to the Xorg Intel graphics
maintainers. We simply pass through the work they do - we don't
have the information or resources to add anything to that ourselves.

Solaris 10u1 feature freeze was a while ago, and code freeze has
passed now. Unless a very serious bug is found, no more changes
will be going into S10U1.
