Good news. With the release of Solaris 10 Update 1, I can install Solaris 10 on my machine (thanks to the incorporation of the new grub boot code, good bye real mode boot). Better yet, Solaris 10 has an Xsun that doesn't blank netbeans windows (what did they do to Xsun in Solaris Express?) so I am happy using that. I hope in time Solaris Express X servers catch up.
