My OSOL snv_134 machine is stuck with a text login screen.
When I log in and type "startx" I receive the following error message:
$ startx
xauth: creating new authority file /export/home/matt/.serverauth.23905
Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock and start again
(Then it sits there doing nothing, so I press ^C)
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 key
giving up.
xinit: unable to connect to X server
xinit: No such process (errno 3): unexpected signal 2.
I tried removing the file mentioned, and then I receive this error:
$ startx
Cannot establish any listening sockets - make sure an X server isn't already
running
