Driver 195.36.31 is needed for this GPU. It isn't clear what
version of the Linux driver is loaded since Ubuntu defaults
to putting the NVIDIA driver on the closed source black list.

I did upgrade the driver on Linux. It asked during installation
if I want to get and use the latest version ! So they somehow
are checking that.

Ubuntu 10.04 64bit - latest version 256.35
OSOL 134 - latest version 256.35

Just for grins while I'm waiting on a Tecra M11,
I tried loading Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit on an Ultra 24.
It did not ask during installation to load the NVIDIA driver
but instead on the first login after reboot a popup appeared
about installing the NVIDIA restricted driver.
I let it install but after the reboot it had loaded
Linux driver 195.36.24, not 256.35. Did you get the
256.35 driver from Ubuntu or directly from NVIDIA?
