There doesn't seem to be an S11X HCL for SPARC, just

I've never seen features like Xinerama support on the HCL.
Whoops, bad phrasing. I meant that I couldn't find any HCL at all.
Audio/xinerama was a second question. As far as audio goes, you
can sox (play) files, but Gnome says no gstreamer plugins and/or
devices found. This was working pretty well with b134.
For Solaris 11 Express 2010.11, the SPARC graphics HCL should be:
XVR-50
XVR-100
XVR-300
XVR-2500
AST2100
I don't know of any reason Xinerama wouldn't work across two XVR-100's
if your machine can accept them, but I don't think I've ever tried it
with Xorg.
Obviously, it worked fine with XSun and sxce124. I suppose it might
again if we can resurrect XSun. But it would be nice if we could get it
to work with Xorg in the interim, especially if we succeed in porting
the relevant XSun bits to Xorg.
fbconfig did a nice job of creating an xorg.conf file for both efb0 and efb1
but enabling Xinerama hasn't worked too well. I managed to get a virtual
screen 3200x1200, but you can't move the mouse to the second monitor
and if you slide (say) an xterm from the first to the second, it gets about
1/3 of the way there and then wraps around to the other side of the first
monitor again. If the mouse pointer was movable to the second monitor, I'd
say it was a configuration problem, so instead I'm guessing it is buggy.
Does it work with two separate video cards on /any/ hardware? It started
to work (partially) when I added Virtual to the screen display subsection.
Any thoughts on either of the above much appreciated
Thanks -- Frank
