Ok, I have reinstalled S11E and now everything works fine. The first time I installed, I had lots of problems: no graphics, only text. I had to mess around much before I got graphics to work.
Then I did a reinstall, but this time I had a network cable in. The first time I installed, I had no network cable and I saw some error messages during install. This time everything worked fine, and I could follow the instructions without any error messages. Sens morale: you must have a network cable when you install S11E, otherwise your install will be broken.
