Thanks Vaclav. You are right. It looks like there is no qt-problem. But the problem is in terminal, used by Kubuntu. It works differently as in all other systems. More over, it freezes after starting and exiting from yade. Very strange problem. The ipython terminal shows a strange behaviour when starting yade with a script. In addition, yade might crash when doing some simple operations in the ipython command line.
