Dear all, thank you for testing! It looks like we do not have major problems with the DEB-packages. The packaging should surely be improved (especially python3-yadepackage), but it is more less usable now. That is why I prepared a merge request [1]. Comments, critic are very welcome.

Nothing against Please see an attached picture to understand better the current way of packaging. Gitlab is building DEB-packages based on the master-branch. But it is not enough to provide a convenient way to install DEB-packages. Somebody should prepare an update for the repository. Previously it was done by Launchpad and their PPAs. Now it is done on my laptop and I am just using the Amazon S3 for testing purposes. We can surely use it further, but I would also prefer to move to yade-dem.org. But we need to coordinate that. Theoretically, we could use the gitlab infrastructure to build the repository as well. But the problem is that it should be signed by the private yade-GPG key. And I would escape to upload this private key into the gitlab servers due to security concerns. Maybe I am missing something. Best regards PS Sorry for not being too responsive. I am only able to do this work late in the evening. Anton Am Fr., 28.
