and found the error message as follows--
/home/shompa# sudo apt-get build-dep yade-svn1290

Building dependency tree... Done
E: Build-Depends dependency for yade-svn1290 cannot be
satisfied because no available versions of package
debhelper can satisfy version requirements
any solution will be appreciated.
