Thank you Vaclav and Nejib, by trying different graphic card drivers I
managed to find one driver for which Yade doesn't crash. The 3D display
doesn't work but I don't need it.

Hi, That is problem with your graphics card driver: "radeon_lock.c"

Run without 3d, that whould work (IIRC it was something like "-N
PythonUI" for 0.20)
