The stracktrace locates the crash in the middle of boost::serialization code, which never occured to me (I just tried with both yade-0.50 and trunk and it works.) #6 <signal handler called> #7 0xb77b9430 in __kernel_vsyscall () #8 0xb746c951 in raise () from /lib/libc.so.6 #9 0xb746fe42 in abort () from /lib/libc.so.6 #10 0xb70f9f45 in __gnu_cxx::__verbose_terminate_handler() () from /usr/lib/gcc/i686-linux-gnu/4.4.4/libstdc++.so #11 0xb70f7e45 in ?? If so, please file a new bug at http://bugs.launchpad.net/yade with details, so that we don't forget. Which preprocessor did you run? TriaxialTest, just with default parameters? What is your exact version of yade? I will try to install ubuntu in a vm to make sure it works correctly, if I have time for that.
