Question #201791 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/201791
Status: Open => Answered jduriez proposed the following answer: Hello Matej, Since you said you do not have any experience with Yade, I'd say as an introduction that Yade is a code performing discrete elements simulations. It involves spherical particles, while "boxes" and "facets" (if these still exist ? as you will see, Yade is always in movement..) can also be used, to simulate boundaries of a problem for example. Then, using Yade could help you to study what is on the pictures you show. You will be able to track the evolutions of all the spheres, interacting with each other, and to know all you want about the mechanical state of this core ! For more details, you will nevertheless not avoid beginning to use Yade, before asking us more precise questions about yours simulations, if necessary. Good luck ! -- You received this question notification because you are a member of yade-users, which is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : yade-users@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
