New question #218781 on Yade: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/218781
Hi, during my latest performance tests I encountered a situation where I started two different simulations at the same time. each of it was start with -j2 option. So it yade should use 2 cores for each simulation. after the simulation ran for about 2 weeks I recognized that only two cores in total where really used. Going through the other possible starting options of Yade I saw --cores. What exactly does it do and what is the difference to -j? Thank you guys, Eugen -- You received this question notification because you are a member of yade-users, which is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
