Question #269486 on Yade changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/269486
Jérôme Duriez posted a new comment: Indeed, there is a mistake there.... You did not define only 2 engines, but two *lists of engines* ! O.engines is a *list of engine*, it corresponds to https://yade-dem.org/doc/yade.wrapper.html#yade.wrapper.Omega.engines. It includes all the engines necessary to perform the DEM simulation you want to do. See e.g. https://yade-dem.org/doc/user.html#base-engines, https://yade-dem.org/doc/introduction.html#function-components and https ://yade-dem.org/doc/introduction.html#engines (Note that, as you're a beginner, I advice strongly to read also other parts of the doc.) Such script definition is in fact non-sense, and you ll have to correct it. (Note that in fact, imposed movements on some bodies like your piston can be achieved without using any engine, setting directly the velocity of such body) Jerome -- You received this question notification because you are a member of yade-users, which is an answer contact for Yade. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~yade-users Post to : yade-users@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~yade-users More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
